Suggested Nature Activities
Set out on a nature walk — in wilderness, a park, or your own yard.
Walk slowly and mindfully until you come upon a Nature being that “calls” to you.
Sit with it and absorb it for a few minutes. Pay attention to how that tree or stone or dead leaf communicates to all your senses.
Either then and there or shortly after you’re back inside, describe this being: its appearance, the sounds, the smells, the touch, maybe even the taste you perceive. Include as well your own impressions, images, and responses as your senses pick up and process this information.
